OUR TENANTS

Vaquero Dining

Built in 1887 and having played host to a number of tenants over the years the building began its life as the Albion Public Hall and there are a number of images of horse drawn carriage, butchers and theatre-goers in the state archives.

With this in mind, the intent was to harness the energy that once existed in this meeting place and continue its service to the local community.

Upon entry to the bar, you will see two untouched Cast Iron Posts at either end of the bar. These were discovered hidden in one of the demolished internal walls. Clearly too heavy to move many years ago a wall was built around them, but very much appreciated now.

Today Vaquero buzzes in anticipation of what is to come for Albion with many plans and a growing population. Until then we will keep doing what we do in that hope that is enough for all who visit.
